Spring Thaw

Spring Thaw so perfectly captures spring in New England! For me, this piece is all about that captivating sky and the partially snow-covered ground! (Other folks might say it's all about the trees and incredible shadows!) This is a hand-colored etching by Carol Collette.

The image is 18" x 26" which is the largest plate size Carol works with (the copper plate is where the etching is created).

The framed example (of Winter Moon) has double archival matting and a rustic black wood frame; Spring Thaw looks fantastic in this frame (the grooves in the frame accentuate the etching lines). It's approx. 26" x 34" framed
