Back Road

Back Road, a hand-colored etching by Carol Collette, captures the feel of quintessential New England. Carol is especially known for her shadows and rural scenes.

The 18" x 26" image represents the largest plate size Carol works on (the copper plate is where the etching is done). The regular edition of Back Road is sold out, therefore the only pieces available are remarques where Carol has hand-drawn something on the bottom right of each piece. In this case, she's drawn a wheelbarrow, though the image may vary - she often does a chickadee (our Maine state bird!). The framed example has double archival matting and a rustic black wood frame; Back Road looks fantastic in this frame and with a blue inner mat that accentuates the barn door.  The frame also comes in a wider version - please contact us if you'd like a price or to see images of that.  It's approx. 26" x 34" framed.
